Your Insider Total decides your tier — and it's no longer just your own purchases. Sharing counts too: you don't need to spend anything yourself to become a ZW Insider. If your friends, students, or family make enough qualifying purchases through your Share & Earn link, QR code, or discount code, that alone can be enough to reach — or move up — Insider status.

A ZIN™ Member in good standing, located in Europe, is invited to join once they spend a minimum of €500 on Zumba® Wear on zumbawear.eu over a consecutive 12-month period — through their own purchases, qualifying Share & Earn referrals, or a combination of both. Importantly, that €500 doesn't have to come out of your own pocket: if enough of your friends, students, or family buy through your Share & Earn link, QR code, or discount code, those qualifying purchases count on their own — you can become a ZW Insider through sharing alone, with no personal spend required. Note that Share & Earn itself does require a quick sign-up — but approval is automatic, so you're set up and sharing right away. The Insider program on top of that has nothing further to apply for: once your Insider Total (your own purchases plus qualifying referrals) crosses the €500 mark, you're automatically enrolled as a ZW Insider, and we'll notify you by email once your new status is confirmed. From that point on, your Insider Total is checked every quarter — in January, April, July and October — based on your trailing 12-month total, so your status stays live and current for as long as you keep meeting the threshold.
Your Insider Total over a rolling 12-month period determines your tier: 2-Star from €1,000, 3-Star from €2,000, 4-Star from €3,999, 5-Star from €7,999. Eligibility is reviewed every January, April, July and October — based on your trailing 12-month total as it stands on the 15th of the month before each review:
Yes. Returns must not exceed 15% of your gross purchases over the 12-month period. This applies no matter how much you've spent — above 15% returns, your status is capped at 3-Star. The cap doesn't apply to 1, 2 or 3-Star. We ask this because we genuinely want to avoid products being shipped back and forth: every return has a real environmental cost, and creates a lot of extra work behind the scenes. Our top tiers are for members who know and love their gear, not just what gets ordered.
Qualifying purchases made by friends, family or students — via your Share & Earn link, a QR code you put up in your class, or your personal Share & Earn discount code — count towards your Insider Total, on top of your own purchases, once they pass the return period (up to 45 days). Calculated the same way as your own purchases — excluding VAT, excluding shipping, minus returns. Your commission is separate and doesn't affect your tier. Learn more about Share & Earn →
Perks last one quarter from the month you qualify. Yes, you re-qualify every quarter based on your trailing 12-month Insider Total — 4-Star and 5-Star members must also continue meeting the 15% return cap each quarter.
