I wasn't sure after reading the reviews and bought two sizes but honestly, I didn't need to bother as my usual size fit perfectly well. Had to return the smaller size. Had them in the wash today and they was fine, didn't shrink but it did make them a little less shiny which I was grateful for. They are maybe slightly see through but just wear Seamless knickers or cycling shorts underneath. My verdict, I like them.
